About The Position
This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments, processing incoming product, and understanding shelf tags. The role also requires sorting damaged product, operating equipment like hand jacks and cardboard balers, and adhering to company safety guidelines. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, and refrigerated areas, as well as meeting company productivity standards, are key aspects of the job. Additional duties may be assigned by store management.
Requirements
- 18 years or older to apply
- Able to stock 50 cases per hour
- Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Able to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
- Internal Candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
