About The Position
The Center Store Associate works independently to display and stock products in a manner that supports the store’s financial interests. The role also helps deliver a positive guest experience and follows company safety and food safety guidelines. The associate may be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Detail oriented.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Retail or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
- Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor.
- Notify the manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
- Maintain familiarity with department products and their locations in the store.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
- Follow personal protective equipment and safety guidelines.
- Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- Perform tasks in other departments when needed to support the customer experience.
