About The Position

The Associate Center Clinical Director directly supervises and trains primary care providers (PCPs) in an assigned center and is accountable for execution of the core care model, including clinical quality, efficiency, outcomes, and clinician and patient satisfaction. The role combines direct patient care as a PCP and/or other clinical duties with leadership responsibilities. The balance of time depends on factors such as PCP capacity, market needs, center size, patient membership, and direction from the Market Clinical Director. The director provides care for older adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses, remains accountable for their care and outcomes, and coordinates with specialists and hospitalists as needed. The role leads the center care team and partners with transitional-care resources for patients who cannot come to the office. It also includes coaching and mentoring PCPs, supporting center operations and financial performance, and helping recruit patients and providers. Local market travel may be needed, as well as national travel for initial training and occasional regional or national travel for recruiting or training.
