About The Position

Performs difficult technical and administrative work overseeing the operation and maintenance of the cemetery, and related work as required. Work is performed under general supervision. The position supervises subordinate semiskilled personnel.

Requirements

• Associate degree in supervision, park management, or related subjects, and four years of administrative-level supervisory experience in cemetery or parks operations and maintenance, supplemented by two years of experience in facility and grounds operations, administration, and/or maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification at the level determined by job classification requirements, or ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Ability to perform each established essential function of the job successfully.
• Applicants must sign an affidavit confirming non-use of tobacco products to be considered.
• Applicants must provide documentation at the time of application demonstrating that they meet the position requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, public administration, or a related field.
