JMT is recognized as #45 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms. The Construction Management Team at JMT is looking for a Project Administrator in the Orlando, Florida area. This role will focus on the financial and contract administration of assigned projects. Please note that immigration sponsorship or support (such as H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not provided for this position, with the exception of candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to assigned Senior Project Engineers in monitoring the financial performance of construction projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance with plans, contract documents, specifications, and standards.
  • Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
  • Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors.
  • Notify contractors of non-compliance and required corrective actions.
  • Track project progress and advise parties of potential overruns and critical project issues.
  • Analyze project-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate administrative aspects of projects, including contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project-related reporting, and cash management.
  • Assist in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials.
  • Review plans for constructability and biddability.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals.
  • Assist in the development of RFPs or tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Promote positive relations with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
