About The Position

Universal Logistics is seeking skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers for its Tampa, Florida terminal. The role involves safe and timely freight delivery on local and regional routes, including service to Orlando, Ocala, Lakeland, Alachua, Plant City, and the Tampa area. Work includes local freight, ports, and rail moves. Drivers are home daily, with an average workday of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dispatch is not forced. Gross pay is listed as up to $550 per day, with pay of up to 70% of linehaul. The pay week runs Sunday through Saturday, with settlement the following Friday. Universal Intermodal provides domestic door-to-door drayage to and from ports, rail ramps, and customer facilities, and operates from 40 terminals and eight container yards. Services include chassis, containers, and drayage for import, export, and domestic moves. Applicants must complete the Intelli-App in Tenstreet using the application link provided in the posting. Requirements

At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last year.
Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL A).
TWIC card required to start.
At least 21 years of age.
DOT-compliant tractor model year 2005 or newer.
Clean driving record with a proven safe-driving history.
No DUI/OWI convictions in the last 5 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Pass a physical and drug screen.
Pass a criminal background check.
Complete the Intelli-App in Tenstreet to be considered.

Responsibilities

Safely and timely deliver freight across designated routes.
Serve routes primarily covering Orlando, Ocala, Lakeland, Alachua, Plant City, and Tampa.
Transport local and regional freight, including port and rail moves.
