About The Position

Universal Logistics is hiring multiple skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers for its terminal in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Drivers transport freight safely and on time over designated routes, supporting the company’s intermodal drayage services. Work includes local runs and light-touch freight in areas such as Louisville, Kentucky; Jeffersonville, Indiana; and Shelbyville, Kentucky. Drivers are home daily and have non-forced dispatch, allowing them to control their schedule and business. The role offers consistent freight volume and access to company support programs, including company-owned chassis, plate and insurance programs, and 24-hour road service.

Drivers can gross up to $700 daily and keep up to 70% of total revenue per load. Settlements are weekly. Fuel savings are available through discounted private fuel and savings at many national truck stops. Free secure on-site parking is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• At least 6 months of verifiable experience in the last year.
• Must have a 2005 or newer tractor.

Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly deliver freight across designated routes.
• Perform local runs and light-touch freight operations in the Louisville, Jeffersonville, and Shelbyville areas.
• Manage dispatch and scheduling as an owner/operator.
