About The Position
Universal Intermodal is seeking Owner Operators from the Cleveland area. This role involves daily local work, with service locations within a 150-mile radius of Cleveland. Runs are Monday through Friday mornings, and drivers return home daily. Owner Operators can gross up to $4,000 per week. Dispatch is non-forced. Universal Intermodal offers private-fuel and national-truck-stop discounts, secure free on-site parking, company-owned chassis, a 24-hour road-service department, plate and insurance programs, and discounts through its U-sav program.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must hold a Class A CDL.
- Must have 6 months of verifiable experience in the last years.
- Must have a 2005 or newer tractor.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily local transportation work, with service locations within a 150-mile radius of Cleveland.
- Complete Monday-through-Friday morning runs.
- Operate an owner-operator tractor for Universal Intermodal.
