About The Position
Service Partners is hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials at customer locations. The driver safely operates a local tractor-trailer combination, provides customer service and builds customer relationships, and assists in the warehouse as needed. The role requires reading, writing, and understanding English and using navigation software. Other duties may be assigned. Seventy-five percent of work activities are performed inside the commercial vehicle cab, with the remainder outdoors or in a warehouse. Overnight travel may be required. This is a safety-sensitive position. Physical duties include prolonged standing and repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as using hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position offers compensation of $20.00–$40.00. Actual offers may depend on location, experience, skills, and market data; variable compensation may also be offered. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Hold a valid Class A or Class B driver's license.
- Have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three-axle vehicle.
- Be able to read, write, and understand English and use navigation software.
- Meet the physical demands of prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
