About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Corbin, Kentucky. This local, solo-driving role delivers auto parts in Kentucky and Tennessee and gets drivers home daily. The position uses a day cab and a 53-foot dry van; freight is no-touch. Ryder provides training on the equipment needed for the job and operates well-maintained trucks that are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at more than 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Drivers earn $1,205 or more weekly and are paid weekly. The schedule is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with an AM or PM start time depending on the route bid. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Provide the appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
Have verifiable Class A experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
Be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Be able to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
Some positions may require additional screening, which may include employment and education verification, a motor vehicle records check and road test, and/or customer badging or background requirements.

Responsibilities
