About The Position

Hallcon is hiring experienced drivers to support a campus-wide commuter operation in Fremont or Burlingame, California. Drivers operate routes using a 10-passenger Ford Transit van or a 14-passenger mini bus shuttle. The role involves safely transporting passengers on assigned routes while providing courteous, timely, reliable service and complying with traffic laws and dispatch instructions. Drivers also complete required reports and documentation, maintain daily logs of operational issues, and perform ad hoc tasks such as moving vehicles to maintenance or wash areas.

Requirements

Clean driving record.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent necessary to perform essential job duties.
Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
Maintain a current Class A or B license with Passenger Endorsement.
Maintain a current DOT Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers on predefined assigned routes in a courteous, timely, and reliable manner while providing exceptional customer service.
Comply with traffic laws and regulations and follow instructions from dispatch.
Complete required written reports and documentation related to job duties and the vehicle being operated.
Complete daily logs of operational issues for record keeping and trend analysis.
Perform ad hoc tasks as needed, including transferring vehicles to maintenance and wash areas.
