About The Position

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is seeking a Driver Merchandiser to deliver products on local routes and replenish retail shelves. Drivers serve as brand ambassadors in their communities, transporting beverages and ensuring products are available for consumers. The role is based in Abilene, Texas, with a combo store format. Work hours are 5:00 a.m. until completion, with a 40+ hour work week and Sunday and Monday off. Starting pay is $23.28–$28.45 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses. Comprehensive benefits are also mentioned.

Requirements

Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License issued by one state or jurisdiction, with no interstate restrictions, in accordance with FMCSA guidelines; applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Have a clean driving record.
Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with DOT physical qualifications and examinations.
Successfully complete a driver road test and certification, or provide an equivalent valid certificate in accordance with DOT regulations.
Be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.
Have a minimum of one year of general work experience.
Be able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Local delivery experience and/or six months of verifiable driving experience.
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience.

Responsibilities

Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
Deliver, merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Communicate with company employees, customers, and shoppers.
Settle all accounts daily by invoicing and collecting payments.
Pick up company property and secure company assets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
