About The Position

The CDL Live Haul Truck Driver safely transports birds from farms to the plant and follows all applicable Department of Transportation rules and regulations. Start and end times vary. Applicants must complete the Truck Driver Application in the H.R. Office after submitting the online application. Current team members generally must have completed six months in their present position to be considered, though those with less time may be considered based on company needs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have no more than one moving violation in the last 12 months or no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months, whether on company or personal time.
• Have no OWI offenses in the last 12 months or no more than one OWI offense in the last 36 months while on personal time.
• Possess a current Wisconsin Commercial Vehicle Operators License.
• Have no current restrictions that prohibit repetitive lifting, bending, or twisting.
• Have no current restrictions that prohibit use of respiratory and eye protection equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Over one year of live bird handling experience.
• Previous verifiable driver experience.
• The Jennie-O Turkey Store Company's driving certificate.
• No moving violations and/or OWI offenses within the last 36 months.
• Tanker endorsement.
