About The Position

Miller Pipeline is seeking hardworking Pipeline Laborers with a Class A CDL to work on gas distribution pipeline crews. The role assists with the repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and fusion of plastic pipe, as well as the reconditioning of gas distribution pipelines. The work involves physical labor, operating hauling vehicles, and frequent travel within the area for assignments. Miller Pipeline is an underground pipeline construction and repair contractor that has operated since 1953. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; two or more years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
At least one year of outdoor work or manual labor experience.
Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Clean driving record.
DOT physical, or ability to obtain one upon employment; the physical is reimbursed upon hire.
Class A CDL.

At least one year of gas construction experience.

Responsibilities

Lift tools, objects, and equipment of varying weights safely and properly.
Compress soil and asphalt.
Shovel material, soil, and cold patch asphalt mix.
Operate vehicles used for hauling.
Assist with demolition, removal, and reconditioning of old pipe.
Score and break asphalt or concrete using a jackhammer.
Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.
Assist with the repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and fusion of plastic pipe and the reconditioning of gas distribution pipelines.
