About The Position

This fleet is looking for new Class A CDL holders to join their team on the Western lanes. New graduates will train with an experienced driver for 4-6 weeks and then transition to solo driving with guaranteed weekly pay for the first three months. The routes are primarily short runs, typically 2 days or less, within the 11 Western states, offering flexibility for more miles if desired. Riders and pets are allowed after the training period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• For experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• New Class A holders are welcome, no prior experience needed beyond CDL training.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class A CDL vehicles on Western lanes.
• Complete training with an experienced driver for 4-6 weeks.
• Operate independently on solo runs after training.
• Adhere to company policies regarding riders and pets after training.
• Complete assigned routes, with most loads being 2 days or less.
• Achieve performance bonuses based on mileage.
• Handle stop pay, assist unload pay, and full hand unload pay.
• Maintain required mileage per week (1,700 to 2,100 miles).
