About The Position

This Western Fleet Short Runs position is ideal for recent CDL school graduates looking to gain experience on Western lanes with a trainer. Drivers will receive paid training, weekly pay, and a guaranteed minimum for their first three months solo. The runs primarily stay within the 11 Western states, with options for longer hauls. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks with consistent weekly miles. Riders and pets are welcome after the training period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply.
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Trainees welcome, no prior experience needed: just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• Valid license in your current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• Some winter driving experience is beneficial as it comes with the territory.
