CDL Driver (Seasonal/Part-Time)

About The Position

The CDL Driver supports EverGRO's Agronomy Division by safely and efficiently transporting crop protectants, fertilizers, and other treatment products to customers. The role also assists with vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, and with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products. Drivers may learn to custom-apply products on customer fields and may be cross-trained to support Energy division products, services, and deliveries. The position is based at the Orange location, with travel between Cooperative locations as needed. Detailed physical and other work requirements are available from HR during the interview process.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class A or B; Class A preferred.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a manual transmission.
At least 6 months of professional CDL driving experience.
Knowledge or experience in agronomy or agriculture, preferably involving seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, or related areas.
At least one year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or other treatment products, and/or working in agriculture, crop protection, or pest control.

Responsibilities

Drive a variety of vehicles to transport products from the Cooperative to customers.
Follow regulations for handling materials while transporting, applying, blending, and using chemical products.
Assist with maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Assist with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products.
Learn to custom-apply crop protectants, fertilizer, and other products on customer fields.
May be cross-trained to support Energy division products, services, and deliveries.
