About The Position

The CDL Driver supports EverGRO’s Agronomy Division by safely and efficiently transporting crop protectants, fertilizers, and other treatment products to customers. The role includes helping maintain and repair vehicles and equipment; assisting with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products; and learning to custom-apply products on customer fields. Drivers operate a variety of vehicles, comply with regulations for handling and transporting chemical products, and may be cross-trained to support Energy division products, services, and deliveries. The position is based at the Madison location, with travel between Cooperative locations as needed.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class A or B; Class A preferred.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a manual transmission.
At least 6 months of professional CDL driving experience.
Knowledge or experience in agronomy or agriculture, preferably involving seed, chemicals, inventory, or crop protectants.
At least one year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or other treatment products, and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant, or pest control environment.
Passion and enthusiasm for working with cooperative customers to help address their needs and challenges.

Responsibilities

Drive a variety of vehicles to transport products from the Cooperative to customers.
Follow regulations for safely handling materials while transporting, applying, blending, and using chemical products.
Support maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Assist with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products.
Learn how to custom-apply crop protectants, fertilizer, and other products on customer fields.
May be cross-trained to support Energy division products, services, and deliveries.
Travel between Cooperative locations when needed.
