About The Position

This seasonal/part-time role supports EverGRO's Agronomy Division by safely and efficiently transporting various crop protectants, fertilizers, and other treatment products to customers. Responsibilities include supporting vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, assisting with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products, and learning to custom apply products on customer fields. The position may also involve cross-training to support the Energy division's products, services, and deliveries. The role is based at the Orange location, with potential travel to other Cooperative locations.

Requirements

A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B, preferably a Class A.

Nice To Haves

Preferably able to operate a manual transmission.
Preferred at least 6 months of CDL professional driving experience.
Preferred knowledge and experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transport various crop protectants, fertilizers, and other treatment products to customers.
Support maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Assist with loading, blending, and mixing of various agronomy products.
Learn how to custom apply crop protectants, fertilizer and other various products on customer fields.
Drive a variety of vehicles to transport products from the Cooperative to customers.
Safely follow all regulations related to handling materials when transporting, applying, blending and using various chemical products.
May be cross trained to support Energy division products, services and deliveries.
