About The Position

Diesel Direct is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to safely and efficiently deliver fuel to customers. The driver operates a commercial diesel truck or tractor-trailer and must comply with applicable regulations and company policies. The scheduled shift is Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; storm season may affect hours.

The role includes safely delivering the correct fuel quantities on time, inspecting the vehicle before and after trips, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, complying with hours-of-service and safety requirements, and providing customer service. Drivers are expected to prioritize safety and may be assigned other duties.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements; both are required.
• TWIC credential required.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Tank truck experience with petroleum is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel to customers, ensuring accurate quantities and timely service.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections to identify and address mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and fuel quantities.
• Follow regulations and requirements for hours of service, safety, and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow company safety procedures and regulations.
