About The Position

As a CDL Driver at Reece & Fortiline, you will safely transport materials on local delivery routes, returning home every night. The role supports customers who provide clean water and heating and cooling by ensuring they receive the materials they need. You will operate a Class B vehicle with a combined vehicle weight over 26,000 pounds and deliver high-quality customer service and professionalism. Work may take place in urban and construction settings and indoors or outdoors as required. The role also involves physical activity, including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class B CDL.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Meet all state-issued driver’s license requirements for the class of vehicle operated.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day and sit and stand for extended periods.
• Have the physical capacity to bend, squat, crouch, and reach as required.
• Have oral communication skills, including speaking, speech clarity, and speech recognition.
• Have written communication skills, including writing, reading, written comprehension, and written expression.
• Meet the mental capacities identified for the role, including attention to detail, critical thinking, dependability, service orientation, stress tolerance, and time management.

• Related experience such as local delivery, short-haul, supplies, hot-shot, long-haul, semi, truck, or over-the-road driving.

Responsibilities
