About The Position

The CDL Driver - Tree Care Crew role supports the General Tree Care Team in maintaining and preserving clients’ landscapes. The position involves climbing and pruning large shade trees and ornamentals, performing removals and cable bracing, safely operating chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts, and working collaboratively to provide high-quality client service while following industry safety standards. The work is outdoors and provides opportunities to apply climbing expertise to protect and enhance landscapes.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL is highly preferred; a CDL is noted as a plus.
