About The Position

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is hiring a Driver Merchandiser to deliver and replenish beverages on local routes in McAllen, the Upper/Lower Valley, and surrounding areas. The role combines commercial driving with merchandising products in customer locations. Drivers represent the company and its brands while serving their local communities. This is a night schedule of four days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting at 4:00 p.m. and continuing until the route is completed. Shifts are 10 or more hours. Starting pay is $25.26–$31.38 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses. Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License issued by only one state or jurisdiction, with no interstate restrictions, in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
Have a clean driving record.
Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under DOT physical qualifications and examination requirements.
Successfully complete a driver road test and certification, or provide an equivalent valid certificate in accordance with DOT regulations.
Be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, and reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.
Have at least one year of general work experience.
Be able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Local delivery experience and/or six months of verifiable driving experience.
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience.
Stocking and merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
Deliver, merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Communicate with company employees, customers, and shoppers.
Settle accounts daily by invoicing and collecting payments.
Pick up company property and secure company assets.
Comply with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
