About The Position

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is hiring a Driver Merchandiser to deliver beverages on local routes in the McAllen (Upper/Lower Valley), Texas area and surrounding areas. The role involves transporting products and replenishing shelves, displays, and other customer locations according to company standards. Drivers represent the company in the community and interact with company employees, customers, and shoppers. The schedule is four days per week—Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday—from 4:00 p.m. until the route is completed, with shifts of 10 or more hours. Starting pay is $25.26 to $31.38 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses. Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license issued by only one state or jurisdiction, with no interstate restrictions, in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
Have a clean driving record.
Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under DOT physical qualifications and examination requirements.
Successfully complete a driver's road test and certification, or provide an equivalent valid certificate in accordance with DOT regulations.
Be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.
Have at least one year of general work experience.
Be able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Local delivery experience and/or six months of verifiable driving experience.
Applicants with a current commercial driver's license but less than six months of experience must complete a paid driver training program.
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience is a plus.
Stocking and merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
Deliver, merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Communicate with company employees, customers, and shoppers.
Settle all accounts daily by invoicing and collecting payments.
Pick up company property and secure company assets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
