About The Position

Granger Waste Services is seeking a CDL Driver—Class B to operate commercial vehicles on assigned residential and/or commercial routes. This role involves picking up trash and recycling, which may require getting out of the truck to load items. The driver will follow all safety policies and procedures, utilize in-truck technology for efficient collection and communication, and interact professionally with customers and the public. Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement required
• Good driving record
• Ability to work a physically demanding job
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment and random drug screen (including marijuana)

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles on assigned residential and/or commercial routes
• Pick up trash and recycling, getting out of the truck when necessary to load items
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Use tablets and other in-truck technology to ensure efficient collection and communication
• Interact professionally with customers and the public
