About The Position

The CDL Delivery Driver delivers electrical products from the Viking Electric warehouse to customers in the Green Bay area. The role includes inspecting the delivery vehicle, loading and transporting products, contacting customers upon arrival, and assisting with unloading. Drivers represent the company while building customer relationships and also perform warehouse duties as assigned. The position uses a box truck or straight truck, has a 4:00 a.m. Monday–Friday start, and involves local deliveries with drivers returning home each night.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and Class B CDL.
Be at least 21 years old.
Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds.
Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation physical.
Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
Basic English communication skills.
Willingness to learn to operate equipment; training is provided.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
One year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of each route.
Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries.
Follow safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
Fill orders and issue materials and supplies according to requests.
Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
