About The Position

ABC Supply Interiors is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver to deliver drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials to commercial and residential jobsites. The driver is responsible for keeping each delivery safe from departure from the facility through completion at the delivery site. This is a local position and does not require over-the-road travel. Work may also include warehouse duties such as loading and unloading materials from trucks or moving them into the warehouse.

Requirements

• Valid CDL, Class B minimum.
• Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry 250 pounds with assistance.
• NCCCO certification required.

• Drywall boom truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to and from delivery sites.
• Unload and stock building materials at jobsites as directed, physically handling materials with a coworker when needed.
• Oversee safe vehicle loading, ensuring orders are accurate and products are in good condition.
• Follow regulatory agency and company safety directives, traffic laws, and weight limits.
• Supervise and expedite unloading at delivery sites to ensure safe and accurate delivery.
• Maintain site safety as it relates to the delivery.
• Distribute and place building materials as specified on the order ticket.
• Safely and effectively operate a boom, crane, or Gradall as required by customer needs.
• Ensure delivered products are neatly placed and presentable.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials from trucks or moving materials into the warehouse.
