About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL driver to deliver building products safely from the facility to customer job sites. The role involves operating a boom truck, protecting each delivery from departure through completion, and coordinating with a Delivery Material Handler on where to place and unload materials. Drivers are home every night, and the position does not require over-the-road travel. Duties may also include warehouse work and loading or unloading materials.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.
• Crane certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Establish and maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery by taking and uploading photos using the company camera phone system.
• Inspect the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine material placement and unload materials.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide the customer with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials to or from trucks or into the warehouse.
