About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL driver to deliver building materials safely from the facility to customer job sites. The driver follows assigned schedules and job directives, maintains a safe work zone, documents deliveries using a camera phone system, and coordinates unloading and placement of materials with the Delivery Material Handler. The role may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trucks or moving materials in the warehouse. It does not require over-the-road travel.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Crane certification.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.

Nice To Haves

• Knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of every delivery by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Complete a load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials from trucks or moving materials into the warehouse.
