CDL Delivery Driver - Home Daily
About The Position
The company is hiring a full-time CDL Class A delivery driver for its Transportation team. The role serves the DC/MD/VA area and offers daily home time, a consistent schedule, and weekly pay consisting of base pay and incentives. Drivers deliver palletized products to grocery stores using a 48–53 foot reefer trailer. The driver starts around 5:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional night or weekend work. The company provides trucks, equipment, and support, and describes its fleet as modern, with very few tractors over seven years old. Employees may be cross-trained for deliveries and expected to assist on those routes as company needs require. The position is for employees, not contractors or owner-operators.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Current medical card.
- Pass E-Verify.
- Able to lift 20, 50, and 80 pounds.
- Dependable and safety-focused, with pride in work.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Spanish language skills (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Drive a 48–53 foot reefer trailer.
