About The Position

The Local CDL Class A Driver Delivery & Backhaul Routes role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the timely and accurate delivery of Ben E. Keith products to customer locations. The driver performs deliveries along assigned routes and other related duties, follows company transportation policies and safety procedures, and completes the administrative tasks and paperwork needed for efficient transportation operations.

Ben E. Keith uses dash cameras with artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events, and improve driver safety performance. Video may also be used to exonerate drivers in accidents. Drivers sign a consent form upon hire confirming their understanding.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of route driving experience.
• DOT certification.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications or proprietary software.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.
