About The Position

Drive a dedicated intermodal fleet transporting freight between Indianapolis and Chicago, with additional local runs as needed. Drivers complete daily runs to Chicago and back and return home daily. Additional local work may take place within approximately 100 miles of Indianapolis. Drivers report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment. The role involves intermodal container transportation using company-owned equipment. Approximately 75% of freight is drop-and-hook, and the majority is no-touch. This is a slip-seating operation, so trucks are shared between drivers; tractors remain at the yard when drivers are off duty. Smoking inside trucks and passengers are not permitted.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Obtain a hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire; reimbursement is available after the endorsement is added to the driver's license.
Ability to complete daily runs between Indianapolis and Chicago.
Reliable transportation to the terminal.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
