CDL A Driver - Local Routes
About The Position
White Cap is hiring a CDL A Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites. The driver may use a truck-mounted forklift, such as a Moffett or Piggyback, to unload shipments. The role requires following DOT regulations for vehicle maintenance and operating safely, ensuring manifests and other paperwork are accurate, and potentially assisting warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment. The position also includes other duties as needed. White Cap describes local routes and highlights weekday shifts, no nights or weekends, paid holidays, and safety-focused vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Requirements
- At least one year of CDL driving experience.
- Required state license.
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides, with all relevant endorsements required for the equipment being operated.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.

- Follow DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operate with a strong sense of safety.
- Ensure manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

- Perform other duties as needed.
