CDL A Driver - Local Routes

About The Position

White Cap is hiring a CDL A Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites. The driver may use a truck-mounted forklift, such as a Moffett or Piggyback, to unload shipments at customer jobsites. The role follows DOT regulations for vehicle maintenance and requires a strong focus on safety. The driver ensures manifests and other paperwork are accurate and may assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The position is described as offering Monday–Friday shifts, no nights, weekends, and paid holidays. The preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. White Cap highlights safety practices including regular vehicle maintenance and inspections, as well as recognition for drivers who demonstrate a commitment to safety.

Requirements

At least one year of CDL driving experience.
Required state license.
Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides, with relevant endorsements required for the equipment being operated.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.
Forklift certification.
