CDL-Bus Driver / Full-Time
About The Position
Sagewood is hiring a full-time CDL driver for its Transportation team. The role focuses on customer service and hospitality while transporting residents of independent living and Acacia Health Center to events, shopping, medical appointments, and other destinations. Drivers transport residents in cars, vans, and passenger buses and assist residents with getting into and out of vehicles. The position is based at Sagewood in Phoenix, Arizona, and pays $21 per hour. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week, with the option to pick up additional night and weekend hours. The driver is also responsible for keeping vehicles clean and performing routine preventive maintenance according to schedule. This position requires compliance with the LCS Community vaccination policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona CDL with a P designation.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills; courteous demeanor.
- Current Arizona Level 1 Clearance Fingerprint Card.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Ability to sit in a vehicle for up to six hours per day.
- Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to load and unload cargo areas.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to handle luggage and resident groceries.
- Ability to transport residents via wheelchair or other devices weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Good driving skills when handling vehicles on wet or slippery roads.
- Compliance with the LCS Community vaccination policy.
