CDL-B Driver
About The Position
Riverhead Building Supply is seeking a CDL-B Driver to make local deliveries and support yard operations. The role includes preparing loads, loading and unloading materials, and putting away inventory. It does not involve over-the-road travel, and the local fleet allows drivers to be home for dinner. The position may occasionally require using a boom truck. The company describes itself as a large corporate industry leader in building supplies, employing more than 800 people across Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Team members are expected to prioritize customer needs, act with honesty and integrity, follow policies and procedures, work safely, and collaborate respectfully. The expected salary range for Rhode Island transparency purposes is $26.00–$28.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Requirements
- CDL Class B license.
- ELDT Driver Training certificate if the license was obtained after February 7, 2022.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Forklift operation is required.
Nice To Haves
- Boom certification preferred.
- Moffett experience is a plus.
