About The Position

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking CDL drivers for its Residential, Roll Off, and Front Load lines of business. The driver operates a waste-hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pickup, traveling around 150 miles from home and lifting and carrying residential waste into a compactor. Drivers inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, identify preventative maintenance needs, and report defects, accidents, or violations. The role involves working on the road rather than in an office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with drivers home daily. Shifts are 10–12 hours, and additional hours may be needed. Compensation includes weekly pay, a competitive base salary, and the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CDL Class A or B.
No more than one moving violation on the MVR within the last three years.

Nice To Haves

Class B driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a waste-hauling truck around 150 miles from home.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Comply with truck-driving rules and regulations, including requirements for size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods, as well as company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Report defects, accidents, and violations.
Report preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
Lift and carry residential waste and deposit it into a compactor.
Carry out other duties as needed or instructed.
