About The Position

Ecowaste Solutions is hiring a CDL Class B driver to provide waste and recycling services. The driver may operate a roll-off truck or a commercial front end loader and will work on the road, operating within approximately 150 miles of home. The role is home daily and scheduled Monday through Friday, with shifts of 10–12 hours and additional hours potentially needed. Drivers are expected to prioritize safety, inspect vehicles, report defects and incidents, and comply with applicable driving regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on the MVR within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A or B.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, including requirements for size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Report preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed.
