CDL A Truck Driving Job - LOCAL POSITION
About The Position
This is a local CDL A truck driving position where drivers can expect to be home daily. The average weekly pay is $1,500, with top earners making $1,800+ per week. Additional pay is provided for stops, unloads, backhauls, and pallet restacking. Drivers will have 2 days off per week. The work involves 70% drop and hook and 30% unloading from the trailer into the back room of stores using electric pallet jacks. Drivers will pick up and deliver from various grocery distribution centers in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, with a primary focus on Ohio. The typical day involves 3-5 loads, 5-7 stops, and 200-300 miles, averaging 1000-1500 miles per week.
Requirements
- 3 Months CDL A Experience
- Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
- Clean MVR
- No SAP
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver from various grocery DCs in the region (IN, OH and KY), mainly OH.
- Average 3-5 loads per day.
- Average 5-7 stops per day.
- Drive 200-300 miles a day.
- Perform 70% drop and hook.
- Perform 30% unloaded from trailer into back room of stores using electric pallet jacks.
