About The Position

Drive refrigerated freight from an Atlanta hub on a reefer fleet. Drivers haul and drop trailers and do not unload them. New drivers are welcome and receive 4 to 6 weeks of paid mentor training. Once driving solo, drivers cover 1,900 to 2,500 miles per week and are home every two weeks. Training pays $650 per week. Solo drivers are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months, with average weekly pay of $1,300 to $1,500 and a monthly bonus for meeting targets. Orientation takes two days or less and pays $300; lodging is covered and bus fare to orientation is reimbursed. Equipment includes late-model Freightliners with automatic and 10-speed transmissions. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available after 30 days, along with a 401(k) and stock purchase program. The company offers a free online degree for the driver and one dependent. Pets and riders are allowed after training.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A CDL.
Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years and no serious violations in the past 12 months.
Have no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
Have no DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years.
Pass hair and urine drug tests.
Provide three years of verifiable work history.

Nice To Haves

No driving experience is needed for new drivers.
Experienced drivers must have six months of experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last five years.
Military experience is considered with a DD214.
