About The Position
We are currently hiring CDL-A trainees directly out of Moss Point, Jackson County, and the surrounding MS Gulf Coast region. Most carriers demand 1–2 years of experience before they even look at your application. We take a different approach: if you completed your training and hold a valid CDL-A, our Paid Mentor Program will bridge the gap between school and a confident solo career. No fine print, no unpaid waiting periods, and no physical freight loading.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
- Graduated from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR have under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Learn real-world OTR driving with an experienced mentor in the passenger seat during the 4 to 6 weeks paid mentorship program.
- Drive 100% no-touch freight, primarily dry van loads with approximately 70% drop-and-hook.
- Operate assigned equipment, which includes 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner trucks (automatic, equipped with APU).
- Maintain a stable, predictable home time rotation of 12 days out and 2 days home.
- Achieve average weekly mileage of 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week across East of I-35 lanes.
