About The Position

We are currently hiring CDL-A trainees directly out of Arabi, St. Bernard Parish, and the Greater New Orleans area. Most carriers demand 1–2 years of experience before they even look at your application. We take a different approach: if you completed your training and hold a valid CDL-A, our Paid Mentor Program will bridge the gap between school and a confident solo career. No fine print, no unpaid waiting periods, and no physical freight loading.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Graduated from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR have under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Learn real-world OTR driving with an experienced mentor in the passenger seat during a 4 to 6-week paid mentorship program.
• Transition directly to full solo pay rates upon program completion.
• Operate assigned equipment, which are 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner trucks (automatic, equipped with APU).
• Transport dry van loads, with approximately 70% drop-and-hook.
• Drive an average of 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week across East of I-35 lanes.
• Adhere to a schedule of 12 days out and 2 days home for stable, predictable home time rotations.
