About The Position

This position is for a CDL-A Trainee Driver who has recently graduated from CDL school and is having trouble getting hired. The company offers a Paid Mentor Program to bridge the gap between school and a confident solo career. This program involves 4 to 6 weeks of paid mentorship, guaranteed weekly pay during training, and instant progression to full solo pay rates upon completion. The company also provides paid orientation, including hotel and transportation. The role involves Over-The-Road (OTR) driving with no physical freight loading. Drivers will be assigned newer equipment (2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner with APU) and will not have to slip-seat. The freight is 100% no-touch, dry van loads, with approximately 70% drop-and-hook. The average weekly mileage is between 2,200 to 2,800 miles across East of I-35 lanes. The schedule is 12 days out and 2 days home.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid Class A CDL.
Possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
Graduated from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR have under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
Clean driving record.
Able to pass a standard background check.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Learn real-world OTR driving with an experienced mentor during the 4 to 6 weeks paid mentorship program.
Operate a company-assigned truck (2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner with APU).
Transport dry van loads, with approximately 70% drop-and-hook.
Adhere to a schedule of 12 days out and 2 days home.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.
