About The Position

DSL Express and partners are hiring CDL Class A Solo OTR Truck Drivers for OTR and Teams. We operate a modernized fleet and are seeking experienced drivers with a good MVR/PSP score. We offer nationwide OTR routes and competitive pay, with full-time earnings starting at $104,000 per year and potential for higher earnings based on performance. We emphasize a strong work ethic and are looking for motivated, honest, and hard-working individuals. This is a demanding job, and we expect professionalism and dedication. We are not a mega-carrier and pride ourselves on a more personal relationship with our drivers, offering resources similar to larger companies.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean MVR and reasonable PSP report.
• Ability to work with modern ELD systems.
• Must pass a drug test (no exceptions).
• Valid medical card.
• Stable work history and good references (verified).
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years.
• No failed or refused drug or alcohol tests in the last 4 years.
• No DWI's, DUI's, and BAC's in the last 4 years.
• No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
• No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations during the last year.
• Provide no less than 3 years of work history; non-driving work history will also be verified.

Nice To Haves

• Additional Endorsements are a bonus.
• Experience with Dry Vans or Refer work.
• Willingness to work hard and be motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A trucks for Over-The-Road (OTR) and Team routes.
• Manage routes and deliveries efficiently, aiming for reduced miles on percentage pay for increased profitability and safety.
• Adhere to ELD compliance and company policies.
• Maintain a clean MVR and PSP report.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, minimizing missed appointment times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding safety, deliveries, and any issues.
• Participate in monthly bonuses based on safety, delivery, and communication.
• Pass DOT inspections and maintain a valid medical card.
