About The Position

DSL Express and partners are hiring Class A CDL Solo Truck Drivers for OTR and Teams. We operate a modernized fleet and are seeking experienced drivers with a good MVR/PSP score. We offer nationwide OTR routes and pay is respectable, with full-time drivers earning a minimum of $104,000 per year, with potential for higher earnings based on performance. We offer both percentage-based pay (30% Line Haul + Bonuses) and mileage pay (up to 60-65 cents per mile). We emphasize a strong work ethic and seek motivated, professional drivers who take pride in their work. We are not a mega-carrier, offering a more personal experience with 24-hour dispatch, well-maintained equipment, and built-in mechanic shops. We also provide amenities such as a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and a lounge area at our Chicago location. We offer no-touch freight, weekly direct deposit, flexible home time, fuel cards, EZ-passes, and hazard occupational insurance.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• 2+ years of CDL experience.
• Clean MVR and reasonable PSP score.
• Ability to work with modern ELD systems.
• Pass a drug test (no exceptions).
• Valid medical card.
• Stable work history and good references.
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years.
• No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 4 years.
• No DWI's, DUI's, and BAC's in the last 4 years.
• No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
• No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations during the last year.
• Provide at least 3 years of verifiable work history.
• Previous employers and references will be checked and must be verifiable.

Nice To Haves

• Additional Endorsements are a bonus.
• Experience with Dry Vans or Refer work.

Responsibilities

• Run nationwide OTR routes.
• Operate modern trucks, with options for automatic and manual transmissions.
• Adhere to ELD compliance for mileage tracking.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and adherence to all traffic laws.
• Maintain communication with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Handle no-touch freight.
• Deliver freight efficiently and on time.
