About The Position

DSL Express and partners are hiring CDL-A Truck Drivers for Over-The-Road (OTR) solo and team positions, operating a modernized fleet. We are seeking experienced company drivers with at least 2 years of experience, a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and a satisfactory PSP score. This is a strong market with solid nationwide OTR routes. Pay is respectable, with full-time drivers earning a minimum of $104,000 per year, and potential for higher earnings based on performance. We offer both percentage-based pay (30% Line Haul + Bonuses) and mileage pay options, allowing drivers to switch between them. Typical weekly averages range from $1,900 to $2,400, with potential peaks. We emphasize a strong work ethic, expecting motivated, reliable, and professional drivers. We are not a mega-carrier, offering a more personalized experience with 24-hour dispatch, well-maintained equipment, and dedicated support. We welcome veterans and offer fair chance employment.

Requirements

Class A CDL required.
Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Clean MVR and reasonable PSP report.
Valid CDL Class A without pending suspensions.
Ability to work with modern ELD systems.
Must pass a drug test (no exceptions).
Valid medical card required.
Stable work history and good references.
No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years.
No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 4 years.
No DWI's, DUI's, and BAC's in the last 4 years.
No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations during the last year.
Provide no less than 3 years of work history; non-driving work history for the past 3 years will also be verified.
Previous employers and references will be checked and must be verifiable.

Nice To Haves

Additional Endorsements are a bonus.
Manual transmission driver experience (for higher mileage pay rates).

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for OTR routes.
Adhere to ELD compliance for mileage tracking.
Ensure safe driving practices and maintain a clean MVR/PSP.
Complete assigned routes efficiently, meeting delivery and pickup schedules.
Communicate effectively with dispatch.
Maintain equipment in good condition.
Participate in performance-based pay structures (percentage or mileage).
Handle No Touch Freight.
