About The Position

DSL Express and partners are hiring CDL-A Solo OTR Truck Drivers for OTR and Teams. We operate a newly updated and modernized fleet. We are seeking company drivers with 2+ years of experience and a decent MVR/PSP score. Immediate openings are available. We offer strong nationwide OTR routes and drivers can live anywhere in the country. Pay is respectable, with full-time drivers earning at least $104,000 annually, with potential for higher earnings based on effort and performance. We offer both percentage-based pay (30% Line Haul + Bonuses) and mileage-based pay (up to 60-65 cents per mile). Our team drivers can earn up to 75 cents per mile plus bonuses. We emphasize a strong work ethic and professional conduct, seeking motivated individuals who are committed to the job. We are not a mega-carrier and pride ourselves on our driver relationships and support, offering 24-hour dispatch, modern equipment, and driver amenities.

Requirements

Class A CDL required.
Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Clean MVR and reasonable PSP report.
Must be able to work with modern ELD systems.
Must pass a drug test (no exceptions).
Must possess a valid medical card.
Stable work history and good references.
No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years.
No failed or refused drug or alcohol tests in the last 4 years.
No DWI's, DUI's, and BAC's in the last 4 years.
No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations during the last year.
Provide no less than 3 years of work history; non-driving work history for the past 3 years will also be verified.
Previous employers and references will be checked and must be verifiable.

Nice To Haves

Additional Endorsements are a bonus.
Experience with Dry Vans or Refer work.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A CDL truck for Over-The-Road (OTR) and Team routes.
Adhere to all ELD compliance regulations for mileage.
Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and maintain a clean MVR and PSP report.
Complete all assigned routes efficiently, minimizing missed appointment times.
Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Handle No Touch Freight.
