About The Position

Regional intermodal work for drivers in the Grand Rapids area. This role involves transporting intermodal containers within Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kentucky. Drivers will operate automatic mid-roof Freightliners and Internationals, averaging 2.5 years old. The position offers consistent start times and two consecutive days off each week, though not necessarily Saturday and Sunday together. Training is provided for 1 to 2 weeks with a hotel stay.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age with a valid Class A CDL.
• 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in the last 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• No failed drug or alcohol tests in the last 5 years.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement (required within 90 days of hire).
