About The Position

Regional intermodal work for drivers in the Baton Rouge area. This position involves transporting rail containers to and from customers and rail yards in Haslet, Wylie, and Memphis. The role offers a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
Hazmat endorsement within 180 days of orientation.
Reliable transportation and a safe place to park the tractor, or use of the Haslet yard.
No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in the last 3 years.
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement (required within 180 days of orientation).

Responsibilities

Transport rail containers to and from customers and the Haslet and Wylie rail yards, plus Memphis.
Operate within Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.
Perform 75% drop and hook and 100% no touch freight handling.
