About The Position

This regional intermodal driver position offers a consistent schedule with 2 days off each week, allowing drivers to take their truck home. Drivers will move rail containers between customers and the Haslet and Wylie rail yards, with some runs to Memphis. The routes cover Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, and Kansas. The freight is 75% drop and hook and 100% no touch. Drivers will operate an automatic sleeper tractor with a 1500 watt inverter. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and drivers average $1,538 per week.

Requirements

21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
Hazmat within 180 days of orientation (cost reimbursed, training modules provided).
Reliable transportation and a safe place to park the tractor, or use of the Haslet yard.
No careless or reckless driving.
No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
No DUI/DWI in 5 years.
No major preventable accidents in 3 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Take the tractor home on days off.
Complete a 34-hour reset before returning to work if opting for a 6th day.
Attend Day 1 orientation and 3 or more days with a certified trainer.
